3WALLS’ WESTERN SWING

3walls’ third collaborative show with the Sarah Shepard Gallery is on view at Sarah’s gorgeous new space in Larkspur, CA through September 9. The exhibition features three East Coast artists: Alexandra Chiou from Boston, Allison Gildersleeve from Brooklyn and Julia von Eichel from Brooklyn and upstate New York.

Bevin and Sarah met while working at Christie’s in New York in the early 2000’s, Bevin in the Design Department and Sarah in Photography. Their new collaboration was inspired by their former boss, who suggested 3walls East Coast artists go West and show at Sarah’s gallery.

3walls and Sarah Shepard Gallery share an interest in introducing great art to curious friends and clients. The success of the original East goes West collab, in 2019, created the bond. The initial exhibition featured the work of Hyun Jung Ahn of Brooklyn and Seoul, Frances B. Ashforth from Connecticut, Véronique Gambier from upstate New York and Sarah Hinckley, who lives and works in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
