3walls was founded in 2011 by Whitney Carr, Macon Jessop and Eliza Alsop in Brooklyn New York as a contemporary salon dedicated to exhibiting and promoting significant new work by emerging artists. By hosting pop-up shows in our homes, we seek to create an intimate, salon-like atmosphere that encourages a dialogue and exchange of ideas between artists and patrons. 3walls promotes artists who work in various media and who have achieved a high level of excellence in their field. We seek to make affordable art available to individuals and businesses, providing access to our artists via exhibitions and studio visits; we also offer private art consulting services.
Macon Jessop grew up in Philadelphia and received a BA in Art History from Connecticut College. She then moved to New York and worked in 19th century American Art Gallery before pursuing a Master's Degree in Reading from NYU.
